Meet Dr. Michael Vanchieri
Dr. Vanchieri is a non-surgical, drug-free, chronic pain specialist. He’s made it his life goal to fix people that haven’t had previous success with other treatments.
An Athlete at Heart
Growing up in Chicago, Dr. Vanchieri excelled in athletics, earning a scholarship to play baseball at Hillsdale College, where he concurrently earned his bachelor of science in biochemistry.
Weekend Warriors Welcomed
After graduating from chiropractic college, Dr. Vanchieri moved out to New York where he started working with professional CrossFitters, powerlifters, and olympic weightlifters. There, he learned about the most common, underdiagnosed, fixable contributor to chronic pain: adhesion.
Professional Athletes and Models
While in Brooklyn, he had the experience of working with other professional athletes and even the occasional supermodels before realizing he wanted to start his own practice.
Returning to Whitestone
Upon returning to Whitestone, Wildcard Spine and Sport was born and successfully helped hundreds of people get of out of chronic pain by removing their adhesion, even during a global pandemic.

In early 2022, Dr. Vanchieri learned about a powerful tool that could remove adhesion, kill old cells, and get people out of more pain, in less time: Shockwave Therapy

A year later, City Shockwave was born out of a necessity to reach more people and get more patients out of pain.
